These are always the most difficult cards to make, but also the most welcome. Welcome, because people dealing with the ultimate tragedy of a death need to know they are thought of. It is a basic human instinct to want to feel connected, particularly when there is personal suffering.
I have always appreciated a more simple approach for these types of cards. After all the point is to share in someone’s grief. To make a connection with them and in their hour of need.
I used the Tranquil Tide color to convey emotions and Crumb Cake to stamp my message. These colors lend themselves well for these sympathetic cards. The oval shaped ring is also not as hard and helps to create a softness along with the small bow. I think overall it’s just a sweet but well meaning card.
Thanks for stopping by today.
