Welcome to InKing Royalty’s September Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by popular songs – this month’s song is “September Morn,” a Neil Diamond classic from the late ’70’s. As you can guess, our Blog Hop today is filled with projects that are inspired by the beauty of Autumn – September is when the air becomes crisp and the leaves start to fall. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
September morn what does that mean? For some people September may imply that fall is here. While for others it may mean Indian Summer. Which way to go with this is really open to interpretation. Thank God we creatives are given a lot of latitude!
For me, I decided to go with more of a fall theme. I really like the Country Lane Suite in the Holiday Catalog, and the milk jug in this stamp set is just adorable. Absolutely on trend right now! Stampin’Up! manages to do that catalog after catalog. It is so awesome working with products that are up to date!
I chose to surround my milk jug turned flower vase with the beautiful Blackberry Bliss cardstock, and this really great Chicken Wire Embellishment found on page 43. I also embossed my cardstock with Tin Tile Textured Embossing folder as well.
TIP: Slightly dampen your cardstock with a Stampin’ Spritzer before running it thru the Big Shot to get your best impression! then allow to dry before adhering to your project.
I hope you enjoy my card today along with all the other great projects featured this month. Thank you for hopping along with us. If you get stuck during the Blog Hop, please use this line-up as a guide:
