We all either have a mother we want to honor or know a mom that deserves to be honored. I have been busy this week either creating something for Mother’s Day, mailing something, or picking up something.

I am so blessed to not only have my husband’s mother with us, I also have my daughter (not close by) who is THE BEST MOM I know!

Between the two of these great ladies, I have plenty to prepare! Add in the mix the fact that I also have a many friends that I consider excellent moms, I have lot’s of creativity to share!

First up: the mother in law’s card, along with the “handbag” I made for her gift card. (the instructions for the handbag can be found on mixedupcrafts)

Graceful Garden,m Rich Razzelberry, Lovely Lipstick, sequins, bakers twine

Mint Macaron, Tassels, Daisy Delight DSP, Cardstock handbag

Next up will be the card for my friend, Beth Anne. She has just had her second child, and I just want to honor all her efforts!

A Mother's Flair, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, High Heels, So Good

Third on the list is the card I made for my husband to give to me: yep, it’s a thing! He says he would rather have one of my cards than anything else he could ever find in a store, so I give him HUGE BROWNIE POINTS for saying the right thing! And I make myself a card!Accented Blooms, Poppy parade, So Saffron,Big Ways, Little Ways

Last up and my personal favorite, probably because it is for my daughter, is this lovely hand painted card from the Share What You Love Suite. So appropriate for Mother’s Day. Love it! I embossed and then water colored this card using SU dye inks.

Well, that’s all I have for today. I hope you enjoy celebrating Mother’s Day with your favorite mom’s too!
