It’s always a bit tricky to know what elements to use on a sympathy card. The Detailed Dragonfly Sympathy card here meets the requirements, but there was some concern about using a “sparkle” ribbon. After asking a few people this was the best response;
“The “sparkle” is the HOPE that we all have on the death of a loved one. Thank you, Ann Murray, from one of my Facebook groups for the great thought!
The ribbon is actually tied around the belly of the Detailed Dragonfly, and allowed to fall whichever way it wants. This is a fairly simple card to make, and really just requires a few items. The toughest job with the sympathy cards is your color palette. It’s best to keep it simple, and still stay true to who you are.
The Detailed Dragonfly is a really versatile stamp and framelits set that allows for a lot of different types of sentiments, and is especially great during the summer months when they are flying around in nature anyway.
Thanks a bunch for stopping by today.
